Components of the rotary evaporator:

1- Condenser or refrigerant with a spiral through which vapors cool and become liquid.

2. Control panel.

3. An electric motor that rotates an evaporating balloon or small glass containing a sample.

4. Sample compartment.

5 – Hot liquid bath, which usually uses water to heat the sample that wants to evaporate.

6- Vacuum system which causes the pressure inside the sample chamber to be reduced and the evaporation operation to be performed faster.

7- A balloon to collect solvent separated from the sample.
